RIO RANCHO NEW MEXICO: Part of the DM Series of LecNet2-based audio processors from Lectrosonics, the DMPA12 is a digital, 12-channel, power amplifier and DSP processor in a single rack space enclosure. Audio inputs are taken from the final mix bus via the Digital Audio Network Interface (DANI) bus, which is an integral part of the DM Series processors using LecNet2 protocol. These final mix signals are then processed individually at each output channel in the power amplifier to apply delay, filtering, compression and limiting, as necessary. The unit is convection cooled and provides ten Watts per channel RMS using Class D topology and can drive loads as low as four ohms.
In H-bridged mode, the DMPA12 can combine two channels to double the output power available. Front-panel LEDs show channel status, including signal present, muting and limiting. The DMPA12 can be controlled and programmed via USB interface or an RS232 serial port. Price and availability TBA.
Well respected within the film, broadcast, and theater technical communities since 1971, Lectrosonics wireless microphone systems and audio processing products are used daily in mission-critical applications by audio engineers familiar with the company's dedication to quality, customer service, and innovation.
