Summary: Works under the direction of the shift supervisor to perform a wide variety of intermediate to advanced level tasks involving troubleshooting, testing, tuning, and circuit repairs. Will use mechanical and electronic test equipment. Performs product testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and documentation. Assists in the development of testing procedures. Performs tasks within established time standards consistently. Must pass a standard electronic technician general/specific test.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key Duties):
- Ensures products compliance to company standards and specifications
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Work with production test supervisor to discuss and/or resolve test failures
- Complete assignments within established time standards
- Follow and maintain company documentation standards and procedures
- Performs additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Able to solder and replace board level components in accordance with IPC J-STD-001
- Replace board level components that will require adequate vision with the use of a microscope for rework
- Although the above is typical of the duties and responsibilities normally performed, additional duties and responsibilities requiring essentially the same skills, knowledge and dexterity may be required
Qualifications (Education and/or Experiences)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least six years of progressive and directly related electronic experience required (Electronic or related schooling may be used for one year of required experience)
- Adept in utilizing various hand and power tools; voltmeters, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power supply, signal generator, frequency counter, modulation meter, audio analyzer and other related equipment
- Basic familiarity with a computer
- Reasonable manual dexterity
- Approved safety, regular or prescription glasses required
- Use additional safety equipment that may be required in accordance with the appropriate Safety Data Sheets
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Attention to detail
- Can handle multiple projects at the same time
Environmental Conditions
- Normal factory conditions with possible exposure to electrical shock and frequency noise
- Tasks require sitting for prolonged periods, walking, carrying, and some lifting
