Factory Repairs

Factory repair customers please note: Effective October 1st, 2008 the Repair Department will be operating under new guidelines for repair price quotation and authorization of credit card charges. Click here for a full explanation of the revised policy (PDF).

Due to the complex nature of some Lectrosonics products and the continuing growth of the product lines, factory direct repair services are often the best choice for dealers and customers. In many cases, highly specialized test equipment is needed to properly align and test Lectrosonics equipment.

Repairs

Turnaround time depends on the workload, which can vary considerably. It can take between 5 and 21 days to complete a repair, and sometimes longer. All repairs are done in as timely a manner as possible. Longer turnaround times typically result from one or more of the following situations:

Rush services at an extra charge may be available to expedite your repair. Please contact the repair department and check on the current status of turnaround time and availability of rush service.

Always obtain a Repair Order number (RO) before shipping any product to Lectrosonics for repair.

Warranty on new products is one year on parts and labor - contact the factory for a complete warranty statement. For out-of-warranty repairs, labor is charged on a flat rate fee basis. A published rate schedule is available upon request. Repairs are warranted for 90 days from the date of repair for the actual work done. Estimates are available at a modest cost.

NOTE: Products with serial numbers that have been deliberately removed will NOT be repaired
by Lectrosonics Service Departments.

 

NOTICE OF SERVICE POLICY CHANGE: Effective April 1, 2009, Lectrosonics will no longer offer factory repair services for the following product lines:

190 Series (UCR190, UR190, UM190, UM190B, UH190, etc.)
195 Series (UCR195, UCR195D, UDR195, UR195, UM195, UM195B, UH195, etc.)
185 Series (CR185, DR185, R185, M185, H185, T185, etc.)

HOWEVER, repair services for these items will continue to be available from Jaycee Communications Inc., which is a Lectrosonics Authorized Service Center.
