Macros are predefined groups of commands stored in the DM84.
Macro file open and save as operations can be executed from the macro editor at any time.
Choose File->Save As... from the Macro Editor Menu and then select the name and location of the destination file in the Save DM84 Macro as... dialog:
Click Save to finish. The Macro Editor title bar will be updated to display the name of the macro file.
By default preset files have the extension ".dm84m", and are saved in a structured file format. It is also possible to save the macro as a simple text file. To do this choose the Text Files (*.txt) file filter in the Save as type: list before entering a filename. The default extension for macros files saved as simple text is ".txt".
Choose File->Open... from the Macro Editor Menu and then select the source file from the Select DM84 macro file.... dialog:
Press Open to finish. The Macro Editor title bar will be updated to display the name of the macro file.
By default preset files have the extension ".dm84m". Simple text files containing a list of commands, one per line, may be opened as well. To do this choose the Text Files (*.txt) file filter in the Files of type: list before selecting a file. Macro files must have the ".txt" extension to be successfully imported as simple text.
