New England's Morning BUZZ airs live coverage of skydive
Portsmouth, NM—July 2008… When New England's Rock 101 morning show "Greg and The Morning BUZZ" sent one of their hosts skydiving, they naturally wanted to broadcast the whole event live on the air. They turned to Ken Neenan, New Hampshire Director of Engineering for Clear Channel, to provide them with an audio link between their studio and Laura, who would would be making the jump from 14,000 feet above the New Hampshire countryside. Neenan used an SMQ transmitter on Laura, and also gave her an IFBR1a (visible in the clip) so she could hear the crew on the ground. The result? Watch the video to see (and hear) for yourself.
