UHF Multicouplers
Designed for field production with compact DV camcorders. The system offers 256 selectable UHF frequencies to alleviate interference problems. The tiny UCR100 receiver provides an adjustable output from -50dBv to 0dBv to match mic or line level requirements.

The audio processing includes the Lectrosonics exclusive dual-band compandor, which lowers distortion and improves the signal to noise ratio over conventional compandors. Machined aluminum housings, doors and panels provides ruggedness that can withstand the rigors of heavy daily use.

UMC16B
UHF multi-coupler for up to 8 diversity receivers. Ceramic resonators filter the incoming RF signals within a passband 230 MHz wide. High overload threshold RF amplifiers minimize intermodulation. "Strip line" splitters (1/4 wavelength transmission lines) provide low loss RF power dividing. Supplied without antennas and coaxial cables, splitters, power cables or other accessories.

The UMC16B can also be built-to order with a 50MHz wide passband. Allow several weeks for delivery of the 50 MHz version.

UMC16A
UHF multi-coupler for up to 8 diversity receivers. Ceramic resonators filter the incoming RF signals within a factory tunable passband from 15 to 50 MHz wide. High overload threshold RF amplifiers minimize intermodulation. "Strip line" splitters (1/4 wavelength transmission lines) provide low loss RF power dividing. Universal switching power supply operates from 100 to 240V AC. Supplied without antennas and coaxial cables, splitters, power cables or other accessories.

UMC200D Diversity Kit
Dual antenna UHF multi-coupler system with RF/power distribution for up to four compact UHF receivers; two SNA600 antennas, two ARG15 coaxial cables and PS70 power supply

UMC200D Rack Mount Multi-coupler Only - no antennas, coaxial cables or power supply

Receivers Sold Separately
SIXPACK
UHF Diversity Multicoupler provides a mechanical package to house up to six compact receivers. Two distribution modules maintain diversity reception. The powering options include internal rechargeable gel-cell batteries, external 12 volt DC or individual 9 Volt batteries in each receiver and RF distribution module. The RF distribution circuitry uses filtering followed by a low noise RF amp and a high quality RF splitter. Each power supply output to the receivers is individually protected with auto resetting polyfuses.

A complete SixPack system includes the mechanical assembly with built-in gel-cell rechargeable batteries and zippered naugahyde cover, two whip antennas, UDM6 and UDM6S distribution modules and a CH80 charger. Receivers and transmitters are sold separately. Wireless systems can be ordered with and installed in this assembly at the factory. The filter bandwidth of the distribution modules is 50 MHz. The frequencies of all 6 receivers in the assembly must fall within this 50 MHz range.

A complete multi-coupler system includes the following:
(does not include wireless receivers)

SixPack UHF Mechanical Assembly
UDM UHF Distribution Module (See below)
UDMS UHF Distribution Module Slave (See below)
CH80 Charger
21499 Power Cord

UDM UHF DISTRIBUTION MODULE
RF and power distribution for up to six receivers and the slave module. Used as the main distribution module in the SIXPACK UHF. Also includes battery charger circuitry and a cable for the gel-cell pack in the SIXPACK UHF. Can also be used as a "stand-alone" multi-coupler, powered by external DC via a rear panel 4-pin XLR jack.
UDMS (Slave) UHF DISTRIBUTION MODULE
RF distribution only for up to six receivers. Used as a "slave" module for the second antenna on the SIXPACK UHF system. Can also be used as a "stand-alone" multi-coupler, powered by external DC.
