Remote Antennas and Cabling

ALP Series

ALP “shark fin” antennas

ALP500, ALP620, ALP650 Series
Log Periodic Dipole Array (LPDA) antennas provide a useful directional pattern over a broad frequency bandwidth (500 - 800 MHz)
Constructed of 1/8” FR4 fiberglass and are extremely rugged.
Ideal for portable applications including temporary setups for field production.

ALPKIT

ALP Series and SNA600 antennas all include a 50 Ohm BNC connector and a 3/8”-16 stainless steel mounting stud. The mounting stud adapts these antennas for use with the optional mounting adapter kit. Also works with the discontinued ALP700A.

PCA900

PCA900

A unique and very useful design, the PCA900 antenna provides wide bandwidth and a circular pattern in a compact, rugged package. A BNC connector allows direct connection to receivers and multicouplers with standard 50 ohm coaxial cable. An aluminum mounting strap for fixed installation is included and a variety of other mounting options are also available for mobile applications.

SNA600folded

SNA600

Collapsible dipole antenna kit, adjustable from 550 MHz to 800 MHz. SWR is less than 2:1 at +/- 50 MHz from the center frequency. Ideal for situations where a full 360 degree receiving pattern is required (as opposed to a directional pattern). Includes mounting kit.

ACOAXBNC

ACOAXBNC

This coaxial design is approximately 60 inches in overall length, with a right angle BNC for standard 50 ohm inputs. The other end is cut to a 1/4 wavelength of the corresponding frequency block with a color band and tag specifying its block. It is especially useful with the VR Field receiver in portable “bag” systems where the receiving antenna can be positioned away from the bag (on a shoulder strap) to reduce the range-reducing effects of RF noise generated by digital recorders in the bag.

ACOAXTX

This coaxial design is approximately 36 inches in overall length, with an SMA plug. The other end is cut to a 1/4 wavelength of the corresponding frequency block with a color band and tag specifying its block. It is especially useful for applications where a small remote antenna is desired.

ARG2RT

ARG2RT

The 24" ARG2RT cable is commonly used for antenna connections in field production bag systems. BNC male to BNC male.
