This proprietary combination of 24-bit digital audio and an analog RF link provides the superb audio quality of a pure digital system and the outstanding operating range and multi-channel capability of the finest FM wireless systems. The digital audio chain eliminates a compandor and its artifacts, and provides audio frequency response flat to 20 kHz. The RF link takes advantage of the spectral efficiency characteristics of a highly optimized FM radio system.
Since the RF spectral energy is essentially the same as analog Lectro wireless systems, it is no problem to mix and match Digital Hybrid Wireless™ products with existing antennas, multi-couplers and other devices commonly used in multi-channel wireless systems. Frequency coordination is also essentially the same as the analog systems to simplify the integration of this system with existing analog wireless equipment.

Venue Receiver
A modular UHF design that operates with Digital Hybrid Wireless™ transmitters, and a
variety of analog transmitters. The receiver uses a host assembly that includes an antenna
multi-coupler, computer communications interface and mechanical rack mounting for up to six receiver

SM Super-Minuature Transmitter
Super-miniature transmitter in a lightweight, aluminum, splashproof package not much bigger than two AA batteries. The 100 mW SM packs all user controls onto an easy to operate control panel that includes an LCD, four membrane switches for adjusting operating frequency and modulation level, plus both modulation and power indicators. Compatible with all Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless receivers, plus Lectrosonics 200 Series and 100 Series analog products (and even analog receivers from some other manufacturers), and Lectrosonics IFB systems. Switching power supplies allow nearly six hours of operation using a single AA lithium battery,
or 4.5 hours with a rechargeable 2500 mAh NiMH battery. Even an alkaline AA will run for about 1.5 hours.
