Download Complete Package or Individual Control Panels
Two download options are offered: complete packages, or individual control panels. The latter are the updated control panels and help files from the main distribution broken out to reduce the download time for those who need a particular update only. If you've already downloaded the main file above, then you don't need any of these. These files will only work if you already have a full LecNet installation. There are many needed support files which aren't included here. After downloading, unzip and place the extracted files in your LecNet installation directory (typically c:\lecnet.)

TH2 Patch v1.0

EmailButton PrintButton

TH2PATCH Version 1.0 replaces the DSP firmware in the TH2 to correct a recently discovered error. The symptom is that after long conversations (on the order of an hour or more) the TH2 fails to cancel the line echo. This causes the local transmit signal to be clearly heard in the local sound system, and can cause feedback in some cases.

Download this file to a temporary folder, run it to extract the compressed files then refer to readme.txt for further instructions.

LecNet Software Revision History

EmailButton PrintButton

Latest Changes/Additions:

Feb 26, 2004 Updated PT3 data files, monitors.ini and actions.ini to include support for the AS8, AS1612 and DFM44. This update affects the following installs: lecnet57.exe, lecnet-akg34.exe and appdg57.exe.

Nov 1, 2002 The main LecNet package, lecnet55.exe, and the Application Guide package, appgd55.exe, have been updated to revision 5.6. These updates include a new LecNet Master Pro v4.2 which fixes a problem that showed up if a PT3 was used. Under these circumstances, the program could not detect any device at address 128 (typically an AM8) while scanning.

Apr 8, 2002 The main LecNet package, lecnet55.exe, and the Application Guide package, appgd55.exe, have been updated to revision 5.5. These updates include a new am1612.exe (rev 2.1) which fixes the "load active setup from disk file" problem.

Mar 1, 2002 LecNet Master Pro has been updated to revision 4.1. The previous version had problems running on some Windows 95 systems. This new version fixes those problems. The distribution file, lecnet54.exe, is the only one affected.

Feb 21, 2002 LecNet Master Pro has been updated to version 4.0. This version is a "face lift" update. Please refer to the online help or contact the factory for more information on the operational improvements. This update has been incorporated into the main LecNet package, lecnet53.exe and the Application Guide package, appgd53.exe.

Dec 6, 2001 The wireless package has been updated to match the versions that have been contained in the Lectro CD since Aug 23, 2001, specifically, UDRPanel version 1.1. The older UDR200B control panel and the password utility have been removed. They depended on several out-of-date support files which might cause system instability if installed. UDRPanel is backward compatible with previous receivers and should be used to replace the older control panels.

Nov 13, 2001 The AM16, AM8/4, AV62 and MM8 control panels have been updated. This is a bug-fix update. The following packages have been updated with the new modules and have been posted to LecNet Software Download: lecnet52.exe, lecnet-akg33.exe and appgd52.exe.

Aug 24, 2001 The Applications Guide package has been updated to version 5.1 to bring it up to the same level as the rest of the updated LecNet software. The TH2 and TH3 components have been replaced by the TH3A. The PAG-NAG Calculator no longer needs the Visual Basic support files so the separate download is now a very small zip file.

Aug 23, 2001 The LecNet package has been updated to version 5.1. This is a completely new package that is wholly 32-bit. It contains LecNet Master Pro version 3.0 and most control panels have been updated with the latest bug fixes and to take advantage of the 32-bit capabilities. See the list on the download page for specific version numbers. The individual control panels have been made available separately but it is required that the main package be installed if this version has never been installed before. Once you have the main package installed, then the individual control panels can be updated from the separate downloads without problems.

Aug 23, 2001 New LecNet software for AKG. This is a completely new package that is wholly 32-bit. It contains LecNet Master Pro version 3.0, AS16x12 version 2.0, AS8/AS8TC version 2.0 and the DFM4x4 version 1.0. This installation package contains all new support files and should be installed completely. The individual control panels have been made available separately but it is required that the main package be installed if this version has never been installed before. Once you have the main package installed, then the individual control panels can be updated from the separate downloads without problems.

Apr 01, 2001 The appgd and lecnet packages have been updated to version 5.0. This version contains pt3.exe version 2.0, a new actions.ini and a new monitors.ini. Version 2.0 consults the database actions.ini any time it prompts the user for the name of a device. That means the dropdown list will always contain all of the supported devices. The dropdown list is now automatically updated whenever actions.ini is updated. This means no more manually typing in device names. This version also detects missing data due to custom actions that were created on a different PC, informs the user of the discrepancy and refers the user to the appropriate section of the manual. PT3.exe version 2.0 is now fully 32-bit and requires a new set of support DLLs and OCXs. For this reason, this version of pt3.exe will not be made available as a separate download. The entire package should be installed to ensure the proper files are placed in the proper locations and these files are properly registered in the registry.

Jan 10, 2001 The appgd and lecnet packages have been updated to version 4.9. This version includes updated support files for the PT3 in order to work with the new AM16/12. If you are not using the PT3 you may safely ignore this update. The PT3 support files are available separately to save download time.

Jan 05, 2001 Appgd, Lecnet and Wrlsm packages have been updated to version 4.8. Added UDRpanel.exe and support files to support the new UDR200C receiver. This control panel is backward compatible with the UDR200B receiver. Added udr200c.exe and udr300c.exe placeholders. Incorporated am1612.exe and am1612.hlp.

Oct 26, 2000 LecNet and Appgd packages have been updated to version 4.7. This update returns the am16.exe module back to ver 1.7 removing all functions for the new AM16/12 product. The am1612.exe module is now available only as a separate download until the help file is available. The help file for the AM16/12 module is not available yet. Please refer to the printed Instruction Manual or the PDF electronic version for program help.

Aug 24, 2000 Version 4.6 of the lecnet and appgd packages have been updated with new PT3 files. The PT3 control panel, help file and database files have been updated.

Aug 14, 2000 Version 4.5 of the lecnet and appgd packages contain a new AM8/4 module which fixes a bug where input and output names and disk notes were not stored with presets. Also fixed the bug which caused the program to crash when the user minimized it while online with the AM8/4. Version 4.5 also contains a new AM16 module which accommodates all firmware and hardware revisions of the AM16 or AM16/12 through firmware version 5.x. The firmware upgrade is smart now and only allows firmware to be uploaded which is consistent with the hardware configuration.

May 18, 2000 Version 4.4 of the lecnet and appgd packages contain a new AM8/4 module which adds automatic firmware upgrade detection. No operational changes.

May 15, 2000 New DSP4/4 module version 1.6 fixes the bug which misread the matrix crosspoint gain information in the demo mode from a file created in the online mode and vice-versa. This takes the appgd and lecnet packages to revision 4.3.

May 09, 2000 Lecnet and appgd packages have been updated to rev 4.2. These now contain the new ver 1.5 of the DSP44.EXE control panel which fixes the bug that "forgot" to show the Compressor, Limiter, and Audio Delay parameters when loading from a disk file.

Apr 11, 2000 New lecnet and appgd packages. They contain am84.exe ver 1.2 which fixes the following problems: in/out names not downloaded to the AM8/4 when the Apply button is pushed, disk notes not downloaded to the AM8/4 when the Save and Exit button is pushed, data size problem for preset data to make ver 1.2 compatible with firmware ver 1.1 and above. The DSP4/4 module, dsp44.exe, is now at ver 1.4 which fixes the bug which would not allow the software to copy all presets from a disk file to the DSP4/4.

Mar 21, 2000 New lecnet and appgd packages. These now contain am84.exe version 1.1 which fixes minor demo problems.

Mar 14, 2000 New lecnet and appgd packages. The DSP4/4 has been updated to version 1.3 to fix a program crash when a filter which had been set to any filter type was set to ADFE.

Mar 06 2000 Updated all distributions with new InstallShield. AM16 module updated to version 1.7. Updated PT3 support files.

Jan 24, 2000 Updated Applications Guide and LecNet package to version 3.6. This version includes updated AM16 module, updated DSP4/4 module and support for the AM8/4.

Dec 06, 1999 Posted all new installs to fix a possible problem where some files were not being updated when installing into existing installations.

Nov 29, 1999 Updated appgd34.exe to appgd35.exe and lecnet34.exe to lecnet35.exe. These update the AM16 module to version 1.5 and the DSP44 module to version 1.1. Everything else is the same.

Nov 11, 1999 Updated akgnet30.exe to akgnet31.exe, appgd33.exe to appgd34.exe and lecnet33.exe to lecnet34.exe. This updated the TH3 module to version 1.1 and removed the AMX programming examples. The PT3 is now the recommended way to interface to AMX products. AMX programming examples are still available via email. Send a request to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to receive a zip file containing all the examples.

Sep 16, 1999 Posted updated lecnet33.exe, appgd33.exe. These files now contain support for the DSP4/4 and include bug fixes for the AM16 and PT3.
