Current Released Firmware Versions

Below are links to the current firmware versions for the Quadra and D4 series products. These are zip files, after downloading extract them into a temporary folder. Use the Quadra/D4 Firmware Update Utility program update firmware.

NOTE: D4 firmware version 3.00 and higher is compatible and interoperable with the Lectrosonics Quadra IEM system (reduced latency). It is NOT compatible with older D4 units running version 1.xx and 2.xx firmware. Please upgrade any older D4 units to version 3.00 or higher to make them compatible.

Firmware Update Utility Program

Below is a link the current Firmware Update Utility installer. This is a zip file. Download and extract it into a temporary folder. Uninstall any previous version of the Quadra/D4 Update Utility first, then run the unzipped file "Setup.exe" to start the installation process.

Current Quadra/D4 Installation Disk ISO

Below is a link to the current Quadra/ Installation Disk ISO file. After downloading this file burn it onto a CD-ROM or DVD disc.

The Quadra/D4 Installation Disk has everything:

Firmware Update Utility Installer
USB Driver Installers for 32 and 64 bit Windows
Instruction Manuals and Data Sheets for Quadra/D4 products

Quadra/D4 USB Driver Installation

Below is a link to the current Quadra/D4 USB Driver Installer package. This is a zip file, after downloading extract it into a temporary folder. The contents of the temporary folder can be burned onto a CD-ROM disc or copied to a flash drive.

This is the same Driver Installer found on the Quadra/D4 Installation Disk normally used to install software. It is made available here as a download in case the full Installation disk isn't available and USB drivers must be installed or re-installed.

Two versions of the installer are included, one for 32-bit Windows PCs and another for 64-bit Windows PCs:

"dpinst-x86.exe" for 32-bit Windows
"dpinst-amd64.exe" for 64-bit Windows

To start the installer:

In Windows File Explorer, navigate to the location holding the unzipped files and double-click on the appropriate .exe file.
Click the Start button, click Run... and browse to the location holding the unzipped files. Select the appropriate .exe file and click OK.

The installer will open and walk you through the driver installation process.

If you burn the package onto a CD-ROM or flash drive, it will also be suitable for use with the Windows "New Hardware Found" wizard in Windows XP and Vista, or for updating drivers in the Windows Device Manager. See the USB driver installation instructions to learn more.
