LECTROSONICS VENUE DIGITAL HYBRID WIRELESS™ MODULAR RECEIVER NOMINATED FOR 2005 TEC OUTSTANDING TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The Venue Receiver is a six-channel, modular Digital Hybrid Wireless unit that packs a
tremendous amount of power and flexibility in a realtively small package.

Walnut Creek, CA Lectrosonics  Digital Hybrid Wireless™  Modular Venue Receiver has been nominated for the prestigious Technical Excellence in Quality, Outstanding Technical Achievement award from the Mix Foundation.

The publishers of MIX magazine established the MIX Foundation for Excellence in Audio in 1990. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting excellence in audio, video and other communications media arts. The winners will receive their awards at the 21st TEC Awards presentation in New York City on October 8, 2005.

The nominees for the TEC Outstanding Achievement Award represent products that were released during the eligibility period and, in the opinion of the Nominating Panel, represent superior accomplishments in their respective fields.

Lectrosonics Venue Receiver is a six-channel, 1U modular Digital Hybrid Wireless™ UHF unit that works seamlessly with both digital hybrid and select analog transmitters. The Venue Receiver combines 24-bit digital audio with an analog FM radio link, overcoming channel noise while eliminating compandor circuits and their accompanying artifacts. Features include 256 synthesized UHF frequencies per receiver module, a built-in antenna distribution amplifier, and much more.

Two plug-in receiver modules are available. The VRS is a standard fixed-bandwidth design that is an excellent value and well suited for all but the most demanding RF environments. The VRT is the same as the VRS but with the addition of advanced frequency tracking front-end filters. The tracking front end makes the VRT the module of choice for highly congested and hostile RF environments.

Since 1971, Lectrosonics has served those in the audio production industry requiring maximum product innovation, build quality and customer service. Used in Academy and Emmy award-winning productions for cinema and television, as well as in audio for theaters, corporate boardrooms and multimedia production, Lectrosonics wireless microphone systems and audio processing products are relied on by users who appreciate the immense dedication of this Rio Rancho, New Mexico-based pro audio firm.
